Grading: A / B / C / D grades available.
Any other dimensions and grades can be produced upon request.
Grading
A - Grade
Four sides clear, free from sapwood, sound knots up to 10 mm allowed. Not allowed: Sapwood, rotten, cross grain, mould, cracks, bark, insect, middle pith.
B - Grade
Allowed – sound knots up to 20 mm, healthy knots 30 mm. Not allowed: Sapwood, rotten, cross grain, mould, cracks, bark, insect, middle pith.
C - Grade
Allowed – sound knots up to 30 mm, healthy knots up to 50 mm. Not allowed: Sapwood, rotten, cross grain, mould, cracks, bark, insect, middle pith.
D - Grade
Allowed – sound knots up to 30 mm, healthy knots up to 80 mm, hard, healthy middle pith, sapwood up to 25% of board width. Not allowed: Sapwood, rotten, cross grain, mould, cracks, bark, insect, middle pith.
